We are seeking: PART-TIME ALUMNI COORDINATOR (10-15 hours per week, in person)
Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Alumni Coordinator is responsible for building up AHS’s alumni database and engaging with AHS alumni to strengthen the School’s ties with them as community members, prospective parents, staff, donors, and volunteers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage / update existing alumni database
- Review alumni database entries to identify and correct missing or outdated information
- Research alumni contact information to add to database
- Coordinate with cohorts from various graduating years / decades
- Manage the “AHS Alumni” social media accounts
- Stay abreast of alumni news and achievements for inclusion in AHS newsletters, the We Are Associated alumni magazine, and congratulatory messages from the school
- Support AHS initiatives intended to engage with alumni, including, but not limited to, the We Are Associated alumni magazine, alumni reunions, and initiatives of the AHS Alumni & Friends Committee
- Coordinate with the Admissions Department to engage alumni as prospective parents
- Coordinate with educational leadership to engage alumni who are experts in their fields as speakers for PD and/or student events
- Coordinate with the Development Office to engage alumni as prospective donors and volunteers
- Coordinate with HR and educational leadership to engage alumni as prospective staff members
- Brainstorm ways to further engage alumni in the AHS community
Qualificatons:
- AHS alum preferred
- Experience in Marketing / Communications an asset
