Customer Service Representative & Inventory Coordinator
Harvey’s Building Supplies is a one stop shop servicing the property management industry since 1948! We supply to buildings and contractors all their needs including plumbing, electrical, construction, hardware, cleaning, seasonal, pest control, and many other products. We pride ourselves in our excellent customer service and the relationships we have developed with our customers over the years.
Harvey’s Building Supplies is looking for a customer service representative and inventory coordinator to join our fast-paced work environment. Key responsibilities will include:
- Process orders placed by phone & email
- Assist walk-in customers
- Create, update and post purchase orders & invoices for shipments received from vendors
- Periodic counting and correcting inventory items and quantities
- Other small administrative tasks where needed
Qualificatons:
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Be well organized
- Have strong computer skills (including Microsoft outlook & excel)
- Be capable of lifting heavy items infrequently
Previous customer service experience and some ‘handyman’ knowledge is recommended.
Salary to be commensurate on experience.
