About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as Manager of Family Services. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of dedicated social workers, ensuring our services reflect the Agency’s mission, vision, and values. By focusing on client-centered care, you will play a pivotal role in addressing family violence and engaging with and holding men who perpetrate intimate partner violence accountable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing social work team focused on family violence services.
- Develop and oversee intervention programs for men who perpetrate intimate partner violence (IPV)
- Provide clinical supervision to ensure trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
- Oversee caseloads, ensuring equitable distribution and effective service delivery.
- Apply therapeutic modalities and best practices with an equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) lens.
- Foster collaboration among internal teams, community partners, law enforcement, schools, and healthcare providers to enhance service delivery and impact.
- Monitor program effectiveness and report outcomes, using data to assess impact and identify improvements.
- Lead public education and awareness about healthy relationships.
- Represent JF&CS in agency-wide initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualificatons:
- Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Minimum of 7 years in social work, including direct clinical service and supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 5 years working within family violence, particularly IPV and work with perpetrators of violence.
- Knowledge of trauma informed practice and Safe and Together framework.
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
- Commitment to client-centered care, equity, diversity, inclusion, and trauma-informed service delivery.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and inspire teams.
- Familiarity with the Jewish culture is an asset
- Fluency in French, Hebrew, or Russian is an asset.
