Position Description – Secretary
REPORTS TO: President of Bikur Cholim
RESPONSIBILITY
- Assistance with day-to-day operations in the front office
- Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 3:00 and Friday – 9:00 – 1:00
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Serve as the front-line office staff for visitors
- Answer phones and respond to emails
- Document and track expenses
- Compose, prepare, and draft correspondence
- Format and distribute minutes from monthly staff meetings
- Maintain inventory lists
Qualificatons:
- Excel, Office, and Word skills – intermediate to advanced
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to independently manage the office at times
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions
- Ability to operate and maintain all office equipment
- Strong computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
