Position Description – Secretary

 

REPORTS TO: President of Bikur Cholim

 

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Assistance with day-to-day operations in the front office
  • Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 3:00 and Friday  – 9:00 – 1:00

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the front-line office staff for visitors
  • Answer phones and respond to emails
  • Document and track expenses
  • Compose, prepare, and draft correspondence
  • Format and distribute minutes from monthly staff meetings
  • Maintain inventory lists
Qualificatons:
  • Excel, Office, and Word skills – intermediate to advanced
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to independently manage the office at times
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions
  • Ability to operate and maintain all office equipment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
