We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated team player to join our vibrant Conservative Egalitarian Synagogue as the Synagogue Administrative and Community Relations Manager. This role is perfect for someone who is results-oriented, enjoys leadership, and thrives in a supportive environment that impacts lives positively every day. By working closely with our dedicated volunteer management team, you will be at the heart of our synagogue, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and fostering strong community bonds.

 

Responsibilities:

ü  Oversee and enhance our membership database and functions using Shulcloud, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive community.

ü  Cultivate and manage membership relationships, becoming a key point of contact for our diverse community members.

ü  Identify and pursue revenue opportunities, including grants, to support our synagogue’s growth and services.

ü  Lead our digital communication efforts, keeping our community informed and engaged.

ü  Provide crucial administrative support to our external bookkeeper, ensuring financial health and transparency.

ü  Manage and nurture rental relationships, contributing to our synagogue’s vibrancy and financial sustainability.

ü  Handle banking responsibilities with precision, including cheque signing and efficient reimbursement processes.

ü  Maintain and update our website through Shulcloud, ensuring it reflects our community’s spirit and activities.

You will regularly collaborate with our passionate Management Team, dedicated Synagogue staff, our vibrant Membership, and the general public, welcoming them into our community.

 

Qualificatons:

ü  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

ü  Outstanding organizational and project management abilities.

ü  Proficiency in basic bookkeeping and familiarity with Shulcloud, Microsoft Office Suite, Constant Contact, and Canva.

ü  A proactive approach to technology, with a willingness to embrace and learn new platforms.

ü  A flexible, adaptable mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

ü  Deep appreciation and understanding of Jewish customs and holidays, enriching our communal experience.

ü  A relentlessly positive attitude, embodying the spirit of our community.
