We are seeking: EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR LTO
Job Description:
The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers and administrators, as well as grade partners and teams. The candidate must be knowledgeable in the subject matter and understand and apply a variety of approaches to instruction, including balanced instruction, assessments for, of and as learning and be able to implement a wide variety of instructional strategies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and implementing a consistent child-centered program in accordance with Early Learning for Everyday Child Today document and The Creative Curriculum
- Understands and complies with provincial child care licensing policies and procedures
- Daily observations of student success and development
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, safety and well-being of children
- Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationship with team members, families and school community
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
Location: Posluns Education Centre, 18 Neptune Drive, North York, ON (On-site)
Work Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
Salary: $39,436 – $62,783, annually

Qualificatons:
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (R.E.C.E.) or E.C.E or O.C.T. in good standing
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Proof of immunizations (including TB)
- University degree or College Diploma in Early Childhood Development will be an asset
