AP Tax Group is a Toronto-based accounting firm.

We are looking for a part-time (approximately 24 hours per week) Tax Preparer to join our team, with flexibility to increase to full-time hours during busy season. This role will support our accounting team with the preparation of Canadian and U.S. personal tax returns and related administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone pursuing an accounting degree or looking to build experience in cross-border tax, with the potential to grow into an Associate Accountant role and beyond as their experience and responsibilities expand.

Responsibilities:

1     Assist with the preparation of Canadian and U.S. personal income tax returns

2     Organize tax information and supporting documentation

3     Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and documents

4     Maintain electronic files and assist with general administrative tasks

5     Support accounting staff with various tax and accounting projects as required

6     Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines
