The opportunity:
Our team is growing, and we are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Investment Operations Associate to join us full-time. This is a junior-to-intermediate role focused on supporting the operational, administrative, and execution-related aspects of our investment activities. The position does not involve investment decision-making, but is critical to ensuring that investments are executed, tracked, and documented accurately and efficiently.
In your role, key responsibilities will include:
- Record, track, and maintain accurate records of all investment activity, including funding dates, amounts, structures, and key terms
- Coordinate funding logistics with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and counterparties
- Prepare and distribute internal and external reports related to portfolio activity and firm operations
- Monitor upcoming investment-related events, deadlines, and key milestones
- Prepare, review, and organize investment-related documentation and filings
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems
- Manage task flow across multiple concurrent projects
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate conference registrations
- Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with external parties
- Provide general administrative and operational support as needed
Qualificatons:
- 1–4 years of experience in an operations, administrative, or support role (financial services experience is an asset)
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Comfortable working with financial data, documents, and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe, Salesforce, or similar systems is an asset
- Self-starter who can work independently while supporting a small, collaborative team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
