DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL REPORTING

North York, ON

Our employer is seeking a senior finance leader for a highly technical financial reporting role within a real estate development and asset management environment. This is a Director-level position focused on leading financial reporting and technical accounting across a multi-entity portfolio.

The role is centered on the preparation, assembly, consolidation, and analysis of IFRS financial statements. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of the financial statements process from start to finish, including presentation, external audit coordination, and complex multi-entity consolidations.

Qualificatons:
  • CPA designation required
  • Strong hands-on IFRS financial statement preparation experience
  • Significant consolidation experience across multiple entities
  • Experience managing external audits and technical accounting matters
  • 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting leadership
  • Public company experience preferred
  • Real estate development or real estate investment experience required
  • Strong Hebrew language skills are an asset
