Half-Time and Full-Time Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Netivot HaTorah is an Orthodox Zionist Jewish Day School committed to delivering an outstanding Jewish and General studies education from Pre-Nursery to Grade 8.

 

Netivot HaTorah Day School is seeking half-time and full time Early Childhood Educator Assistants who will work with a dedicated team of faculty and administrators to guide, support, and inspire students, teachers, and parents.

 

The candidate(s) should be passionate about education, love working with children, be prepared to model and promote spiritual, academic, and social/emotional growth, a team player, a great communicator, and ready to make a difference. We have an outstanding faculty, and are looking for a talented new partner.

The ECE Assistant should be a responsible team player who is dedicated to implementing best practices in Jewish education and who strives towards creating a learning environment where children are encouraged to build on their strengths and realize their capacities through positive interactions with peers and educators. The Assistant will report to the Gan Director.

Qualificatons:

Successful candidates, who will collaborate with teachers and administrators, will have the following qualifications:

 

  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators, or active pursuit of registration of ECE courses towards the completion of an RECE degree.
  • Proficiency in play-based and inquiry-based learning (for early childhood)
  • Knowledge of ‘How Does Learning Happen’
