Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Judaic Studies Teacher to join our Elementary School team. The teacher will foster a positive and engaging classroom environment while helping students develop a strong foundation in Torah learning, Jewish values, and love for Yiddishkeit. This position is ideal for an educator who is creative, organized, collaborative, and passionate about inspiring young learners through meaningful and engaging instruction.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Teach core Judaic Studies subjects (Tefillah, Chumash, Dinim, Kriya, Parsha & Navi) in two elementary grades within Grades 1–5
  • Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support a variety of learning styles and abilities
  • Foster a warm, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment rooted in Torah values and positive middot
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and student needs
  • Maintain classroom organization, routines, and expectations that support student success
  • Integrate creativity, hands-on learning, and student engagement into daily instruction

 

Qualificatons:
  • Experience in Judaic Studies or Jewish education.
  • Demonstrated experience in an educational setting, formal or informal.
  • Passion for working with elementary-aged children.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to inspire, engage, and connect with learners.
