Netivot HaTorah Day School is looking for Substitute teachers at both the North and South campuses for General and Judaic Studies.
Netivot HaTorah, is a dynamic Modern Orthodox day school committed to delivering an outstanding Jewish and General studies education from Pre-Nursery to Grade 8. We are looking for substitute teachers who will work together with a dedicated team of faculty and administrators to guide, support and inspire students, teachers and parents.
Substitute Teacher responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Manage classroom routines and student behaviour.
- Supervise students throughout the school day, as assigned.
- Communicate with teachers and administration regarding the day’s activities.
- Follow all school policies and procedures.
Job Type: On-call
Schedule: Monday to Friday, as needed
Location: Netivot HaTorah Day School, North and/or South campus
Start Date: September 2026
Qualificatons:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Education with teacher college certification or equivalent or are currently enrolled in a teacher education program
- OCT qualified is preferred
- Degree or qualification in early childhood education or are currently enrolled in an education program
- Knowledge of Hebrew or Jewish traditions is an asset but is not required for all supply teaching assignments.
