Office & Program Coordinator
Description:
Mizrachi Canada is looking for an organized and dependable Office & Programs Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of our office and help coordinate our programs and events.
This role is ideal for someone with approximately 1 to 3 years of professional experience who is looking to grow their administrative, coordination, and event planning skills in the nonprofit sector. Working closely with our team, you’ll help manage registrations, communications, event logistics, and office administration while supporting a wide variety of community initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate registrations, communications, and logistics for programs and events.
- Assist with planning and preparing for community events, scholar visits, and meetings.
- Manage email communications, event registrations, and participant lists.
- Update website content, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with speakers, volunteers, vendors, and community members.
- Provide administrative support for the Canadian Yoatzot Initiative (CYI).
- Support Beit Midrash Zichron Dov (BMZD) with weekly communications, registrations, and program logistics.
- Help keep the office organized, including ordering supplies and supporting daily operations.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and other projects as needed.
Qualificatons:
- Approximately 1 to 3 years of administrative, office, coordination, or related experience.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Friendly, professional, and customer service oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Canva. Experience with WordPress is an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a nonprofit, community organization, office administration, or event coordination is an asset.
- Familiarity with the Toronto Jewish community is an asset.

Additional Comments:
This is a full-time, 12-month maternity leave contract position with the possibility of extension. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday during standard office hours, with occasional evening and weekend commitments for programs and events. This is a hybrid position.
